Guest Star - Kunal Nayyar
Kunal Nayyar is a British actor best known for playing Raj Koothrappali on The Big Bang Theory. Nayyar was born in London and raised in New Delhi, India. He moved to the United States to study business at the University of Portland, where he began acting, and later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Temple University.
After theatre work including Huck and Holden in Los Angeles and Love’s Labour’s Lost with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Nayyar made his television debut with an uncredited appearance on NCIS. In 2007, he was cast as astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali on The Big Bang Theory.
Since The Big Bang Theory ended, Nayyar’s credits have included Criminal: UK, for which he received a BAFTA Television Award nomination, the Apple TV+ thriller Suspicion, the film The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, and Netflix’s Spaceman. Nayyar has also voiced characters in Ice Age: Continental Drift, Sanjay and Craig, Trolls and Cars 3.
Nayyar published the memoir Yes, My Accent Is Real in 2015.
