Stuart Fails to Save the Universe sees Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus, Brian Posehn and John Ross Bowie reprise their The Big Bang Theory roles as comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, his assistant and girlfriend Denise, Caltech geologist Bert Kibbler, and Caltech physicist/all-around pain-in-the-ass Barry Kripke.

The series also features Ryan Cartwright as Kyle, Josh Brener as Trevor and Tommy Walker as Gary in recurring roles. Cartwright and Brener both previously appeared on The Big Bang Theory, but as different characters. Cartwright played Cole, a British classmate of Penny’s, while Brener played Dale, Stuart’s friend and co-worker at the comic book store.
