Ryan Cartwright is an English actor best known for his roles as Vincent Nigel-Murray on Bones, Gary Bell on Alphas, and Chale Witt on Kevin Can Wait.
Cartwright began acting as a teenager in the UK, with early credits including the comedy-drama The Grimleys and Hardware, a sitcom starring Martin Freeman. After moving to the United States, he had recurring roles on Bones as lab intern Vincent Nigel-Murray and on Mad Men as John Hooker.
From 2011 to 2012, Cartwright starred as Gary Bell on the Syfy drama Alphas, created by Stuart Fails to Save the Universe co-creator Zak Penn. He later had a main role as Chale Witt on the CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait, which ran for two seasons. On film, Cartwright has appeared in Virgin Territory, Vacation and Independence Day: Resurgence.
Cartwright guest starred on The Big Bang Theory during the show’s sixth season as Cole, Penny’s British study partner. He has since appeared in several Chuck Lorre sitcoms, with guest roles on Mom, Bob Hearts Abishola and B Positive.
